Job Description


Our client is a unique PR/investor relations/private equity firm working with public companies. We are looking for a Manager of Corporate Communications to join their team. Ideally this person has experience writing press releases and creating investor relations materials for public companies, and specifically experience working within mining. Excellent writing and editing skills are required. This position involves working out of a downtown Vancouver office and creating various communications materials.

Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Assist in the preparation and development of a wide range of investor and corporate communications materials, including external press releases, investor presentations, conference call materials, website materials, fact sheets, and quarterly/annual reports

\xc2\xb7 Manage the marketing team across multiple projects and companies

\xc2\xb7 Ensure timely delivery of materials

\xc2\xb7 Work with senior management to ensure the corporate vision is articulated correctly

\xc2\xb7 Drive brand consistency through all corporate communications

\xc2\xb7 Stay in touch with trends and competitors

Qualifications:

\xc2\xb7 5 years of experience in corporate communications or marketing with a publicly traded company, ideally in the mining/natural resource sector

\xc2\xb7 Exceptional communication and writing skills

\xc2\xb7 Experience creating marketing materials including both written and visual content

\xc2\xb7 Experience communicating with shareholders, investors, and brokers with public companies

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated understanding of the capital markets and investment community

\xc2\xb7 Strong financial, analytical, and organizational skills, flexible and detail-oriented

\xc2\xb7 Motivated team player who can work independently and collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders

\xc2\xb7 Deadline-driven, ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously

\xc2\xb7 Advanced proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, and PowerPoint

\xc2\xb7 An open and articulate communicator with strong oral, written, and presentation skills

\xc2\xb7 Delivers information in a well-organized manner and engages audiences appropriately

\xc2\xb7 University degree with (specialization in commerce, finance or accounting preferred
