Job Description

Our client is a well-established, multinational manufacturer of water management/drainage systems offering a wide range of high-quality products for both residential and commercial projects.

They are currently looking for a Specification Consultant who will be responsible for generating specifications of the company\'s products with architects & engineers, government departments, and national accounts within the assigned region. The position will be home-based, with the exception of half day a week expected at the office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

\xc2\xb7 Pursue project leads with various specifying clients with the aim to confirm specifications for the company\'s products on current or future projects.

\xc2\xb7 Present and include the company\'s features and benefits to secure the proprietary company\'s specifications.

\xc2\xb7 Manipulate the confirmed specification data from projects into the company\'s Sales Management System (SMS) through communication with the Inside Sales Department

\xc2\xb7 Use industry-related lead sources to identify and provide project information.

\xc2\xb7 Communicate all findings to the Inside Sales team

\xc2\xb7 Fully utilize the support offered by Technical Services Department to assist architects and engineers with properly specifying the company\'s products on projects.

\xc2\xb7 Manage CRM input, quoting, and project functions within the CRM

\xc2\xb7 Work in conjunction with Inside Sales to maximize all opportunities for specifications on project leads.

\xc2\xb7 Attend and set up all relevant shows and exhibitions as directed by President/Sales Manager

\xc2\xb7 Conduct 4 engineering-based lunchbox and/or continuing education presentations per month.

\xc2\xb7 Provide management with a monthly specification report confirming specification details on at least 8 projects

\xc2\xb7 Utilize CMD/Reed analytics search engine to help Identify the top construction markets and to identify the top engineering firms in each market segment (Healthcare, Infrastructure, Industrial, etc.) by city

\xc2\xb7 Participate in Budget and Year plan for the region.

\xc2\xb7 Travel as necessary.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure all reports are written and submitted as requested.

\xc2\xb7 Comply with Company policies and procedures.

\xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned or directed
