Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Crew Leader to oversee gardening maintenance projects and lead a team of skilled workers. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a passion for horticulture, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role requires hands-on involvement in various landscaping activities, including extensive plant knowledge (including pruning cycles), garden maintenance, planting and trimming.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the crew to ensure timely completion of gardening maintenance tasks. Train team members on proper techniques for for pruning, weeding and trimming. Conduct regular inspections of landscaped areas to assess plant health and overall appearance. Maintain communication with clients and staff members. Ensure daily tasks are being completed and hours are being tracked. Assist with garden design implementation, including planting, pruning, and mulching as required.

Requirements

Proven experience in landscape maintenance is a MUST Strong knowledge of plants and flowers is a MUST. Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work. Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions is essential. A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
