Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen understanding of food safety and handling practices. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly, providing high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.

We are open to assisting with apprenticeships!

Currently enrolled in an accredited Culinary Program ie: George Brown, Georgian College, OYAP is an asset!

Duties

Prepare and assemble ingredients for various dishes, ensuring freshness and quality. Assist in cooking and serving meals according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of supplies and assist in ordering as needed. Contributing creative ideas for seasonal dishes. Ensure all food handling practices comply with health regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Food Handlers Certificate Proven experience in a kitchen setting, preferably within the food industry or restaurant environment. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. A passion for culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow with inspiration and mentorship from 3 red seal chefs! Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$25.30 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
