Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pantry Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality food items, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring efficient kitchen operations. Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble a variety of pantry items, including salads, appetizers, and side dishes, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients for various menu items. Cook and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry area, adhering to food safety regulations. Handle food with care to ensure proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices. Support the kitchen team during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of orders. Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

Proven experience in serving, food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting. Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards. Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining high-quality presentation. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in food industry operations. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food assembly and presentation. Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is valued.
