Overview

We are seeking a skilled Furnace and A/C Installer to join our team, responsible for the installation and maintenance of various HVAC and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and service technician roles, with the ability to read schematics and understand HVAC design principles. This position requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in field service, appliance repair, and property maintenance.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and related equipment. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure proper installation procedures. Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of HVAC/R systems to identify issues. Perform equipment repairs and maintenance tasks, including boiler and air conditioning systems. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding installations or repairs.

Skills

Proven experience in construction or as a service technician in HVAC/R fields. Strong understanding of plumbing, refrigeration, air conditioning, and mechanical systems. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Proficient in using tools for equipment repair, including welding equipment when necessary. Ability to perform maintenance tasks effectively while demonstrating attention to detail. Valid driver's license is required for travel to various job sites. Previous mechanic experience is advantageous for troubleshooting complex issues.
