Fun Circle is a vibrant indoor playground and activity centre designed for children aged 0-12 years. We provide a safe, clean, and engaging environment where kids can play, explore, and learn. In addition to regular playground access, we offer a variety of activities, host birthday parties, family and corporate events, team-building games, and provide an exciting field trip option for schools and daycares.

Position Overview:

The Fun Team Member plays a crucial role in delivering an exceptional experience for our guests. You will be responsible for engaging with children and families, facilitating activities, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring excellent customer service. This position requires flexibility, weekend availability, enthusiasm, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Management:

Plan, host, and oversee birthday parties, special events, classes, and camps, ensuring a seamless experience from setup to cleanup.

Guest Services:

Greet guests, register children and adults, process admissions using the POS system, and ensure all waivers are signed.

Playground Supervision:

Clearly communicate and enforce playground rules to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors.

Facility Maintenance:

Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility, including regular sanitation, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and restroom upkeep.

Inventory Control:

Monitor and manage supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained.

Store Operations:

Responsible for opening and closing procedures, ensuring the facility is ready for daily operations.

Customer Experience:

Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, assisting with activities, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.

Entertainment Skills:

Willingness to learn and perform face painting, balloon art, laser tag hosting, and other interactive activities for children.

Adaptability & Teamwork:

Take initiative in improving processes, collaborate effectively with team members, and handle stressful situations with professionalism.

Other Duties:

Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Fun Team Lead and Manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

1-2 years of experience working with children in a professional or volunteer setting. Passion for working with children of all abilities and a friendly, engaging personality. At least 2 years of customer service experience; prior experience opening and closing a store is an asset. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. CPR certification is an asset. Basic proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, booking software, and POS systems is an advantage. Outgoing, diplomatic, and able to build positive relationships with patrons and colleagues. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and evenings.
