Job Description

This position is for maternity leave coverage. The contract is expected to last approximately 12 to 18 months, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role.

Purpose





Under the direction of the accounting manager, the Funding Administrator is responsible for facilitating and coordinating customer closing statements and other administrative duties as assigned. This position supports the Funding Specialist across all divisions.


Key Objectives:




Preparation of closing statements, including realtor and sales commissions Process commission cheques for third parties including realtors and customer referrals Prepare insurance forms for all properties under construction and show homes Handle annual property tax processing and reporting for show homes and houses under construction Main accurate address information for all properties in our internal system (Newstar) File lot agreements electronically and in paper format Other duties and responsibilities assigned

Skill Requirements:



Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial documents Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial and customer information Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial processes Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is an asset, but not required. 1-2 years of experience in an administrative, accounting, or funding-related role preferred * Experience with homebuilding or real estate industry processes is an asset
