Job Description

Our Montreal-based client is seeking an experienced SAP Functional Master Data Consultant (Procurement & SCM xc3xa2xc2x80xc2x93 MM/PP/IM) to join their team on a 6 month contract basis starting June 2nd with possibility of extension. This role will transform to S/4 our client's retail, wholesale distribution and consumer product practice operations, with the ideal candidate having extensive experience retail, procurement and SCM environment (MM, PP, IM). The position will set-up, designing data, workshops for business process, recommendations and best practices. The position will be primarily remote, however there will be travel expected to client site during key project milestones.
Key responsibilities:

• Functional Master Data Consultant with 5-10 years of experience working in a procurement and SCM environment (MM, PP, IM) for their retail client.
• The store is rebranding product to the store brand, which requires a master data change, hence the role.
• Understanding of SAP Material Master, Customer Master, Vendor Master, Article Master (Retail), and Business Partner (BP) structures.
• Other areas of understanding required include: Data Model Transition, The different Data Migration Tools, Data Quality & Cleansing.
• Cleansing and enriching product, vendor, and customer records.
• Loading corrected data into the SAP system.
• Testing the migrated data to ensure it works with procurement and SCM processes.
• Training users on how to maintain master data correctly in the future.
