We are also a leading supplier of uranium refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services from our operations in Ontario.The RoleReporting to the Manager, Asset Information Management, you will be a part of our Asset Management and Reliability team supporting Cameco\'s operations.In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for developing and maintaining asset master data in Cameco\'s enterprise asset management system (S4 HANA) including functional location and equipment objects, bills of material, material masters, and maintenance plans for which detailed work instructions may be required. These would be for operating sites, and for new assets as part of new projects
  • Assist with ancillary asset data systems like asset performance management and condition monitoring systems
  • Review of technical drawings, manuals, and other information sources
Required:
  • Diploma/Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Technology
  • Minimum of ten years of relevant work experience with industrial equipment of the nature for which master data must be created and maintain, either as trades person, technician, planner, or designer. Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
  • Attention to detail, understanding of electro-mechanical systems
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP S4H-PM (Plant Maintenance), Microsoft Excel
  • Should be able to read and interpret P&IDs, Single Line Diagrams etc., along with proficiency with data manipulation
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP-PM (Plant Maintenance), Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work within tight schedules to meet operational business needs
  • Travel to our operations in Northern Saskatchewan on a need basis
Recommended:
  • Experience with SAP S4H LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) and SAP S4H DMS (Document Management System)
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
