As Pulse Medical scales its logistics and fulfillment operations in Hamilton to serve both Canadian and U.S. markets, we're hiring a
Warehouse QA Specialist
to champion quality at every stage of the fulfillment process.
This role focuses on
testing, process standardization, and continuous improvement
. You will work closely with the Warehouse Lead, Support, and Operations teams to ensure that every device shipped meets our standards -- and that our workflows evolve as we grow.
Test, configure, and verify devices prior to shipment following standardized protocols.
Returns & Redeployment:
Evaluate returned units, deactivate faulty inventory, and assess items for reconditioning or reuse.
Process Audits:
Monitor adherence to SOPs across fulfillment workflows and flag inconsistencies or areas for improvement.
Workflow Optimization:
Identify bottlenecks, process gaps, or recurring errors and recommend corrective actions.
Documentation & SOP Maintenance:
Support creation and regular updates of work instructions and QA checklists.
Collaboration & Communication:
Liaise with Customer Support and Operations to share findings and implement quality-enhancing initiatives.
Training Support:
Assist in onboarding and coaching fulfillment team members on QA best practices.
What We're Looking For
2+ years of experience in warehouse QA, fulfillment, or process improvement roles.
Strong understanding of QA tools and techniques (checklists, root cause analysis, quality logs).
Tech-savvy: able to follow digital configuration procedures and use web-based platforms.
Excellent attention to detail, process thinking, and documentation habits.
Comfortable working in a physical warehouse environment (lift up to 50 lb / 23 kg).
Legally entitled to work in Canada and able to reliably commute to our Hamilton warehouse.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Rate:
$18 - $20 per hour, based on experience
Overtime Pay:
1.5x hourly rate when applicable
Vacation:
10 paid vacation days annually (prorated if applicable)
