Full time/ Part Time Pharmacy Technician

for our Pharmacy & Travel Clinic at this location.



Assist pharmacists in administering patient-focused services including MedsChecks (if applicable), pharmaceutical opinions. Adhere to approved prescriptions and fulfill duties and responsibilities outlined by the relevant College of Pharmacists. Perform data entry and billing of prescriptions using Kroll Software, ensuring comprehensive documentation, including dosage and dosing intervals, third-party billing restrictions, copayment management, and coordination of benefits. Prepare prescriptions, including regular medications, compliance packaging, and basic compounding. Monitor refrigeration temperatures on-site and promptly report any variances to the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist on-duty. Maintain effective communication with external and internal contacts, while cultivating and sustaining professional relationships with local healthcare professionals, suppliers, allied health businesses, and private insurance payers.

Required Qualification

Provincial Pharmacy Technician Registration

Knowledge of Kroll pharmacy software an asset

Exceptional customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving skills including the experience formulating and executing action plans

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
