We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining or catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and presentation.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring a diverse and appealing selection of dishes
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Participate in catering events, providing exceptional service and meal preparation
Uphold quality standards for food presentation and taste, ensuring guest satisfaction
Qualifications
Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in fine dining or catering settings
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is a plus
Excellent knife skills and understanding of food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
Previous experience in menu planning or serving is highly desirable
A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests
