As part of our healthcare team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety of patients, visitors, and staff in a fast-paced hospital environment. You'll gain valuable experience in healthcare security, emergency response, and public safety--while working alongside a supportive, highly trained team.

Key Responsibilities:

Patrol assigned areas on foot to maintain safety and enforce hospital rules and procedures. Monitor and report irregularities, including safety hazards, security breaches, and emergencies. Communicate effectively via two-way radio and written reports. Respond to medical emergencies and provide assistance as needed. Offer exceptional customer service and assist anyone in need, including during emergencies. Support emergency responders such as police, fire, and paramedics as required. Prepare accurate and detailed incident and investigation reports. Perform other security-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Valid Security License for the Province of Ontario. Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor). Proof of required immunizations (TB, MMR, Varicella). Fluent in English (oral and written). Previous experience in healthcare, by-law, or parking enforcement. Authorized to legally work in Canada.
