Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team! The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Because the position is reception at a hair salon, candidate must be interested in the beauty industry as well as dress professionally in style, with their hair styled daily. Schedule may vary, must be available some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional manner. Answer phone calls Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring it is welcoming and tidy. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Utilize POS systems for processing payments and managing sales transactions. Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members as needed. Conduct product demonstrations for clients when necessary. Assist with administrative tasks.

Skills

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent phone etiquette to ensure clear communication with clients. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Experience with cash handling and cashiering preferred. Must work well with others, this is a team environment Must perform well under pressure, salon can be fast paced Fluent in English: speaking, reading, and writing
