Job Description

Platinum Solutions Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring timely reconciliations. This role requires proficiency in QuickBooks Online, ADP and Dext. The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of experience in the position in an industrial or railway setting.

Responsibilities



Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions and reconciling accounts

Manage accounts payable

Utilize QuickBooks Online (QBO) for bookkeeping tasks

Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

Process payroll with ADP

Handle GST and payroll tax processing

Handle sales tax filings for multiple provinces PST and HST

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Collaborate with the team to provide financial reports as needed

Requirements



Proven experience as a Bookkeeper

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is essential

Strong knowledge of sales tax regulations in multiple provinces

Experience with GST and payroll tax processing

Experience filing PST and HST in other provinces

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Previous experience with HR tasks such as employee onboarding is considered an asset

This is an in-office role with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid (1-2 days remote) position after the first two to three months.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
