Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled
BBQ Chef/Churrasqueiro (Grill Cook)
to enhance our Rodizio-style meat service. You will prepare, grill, and serve meats directly to customers, ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in churrascarias or working with Rodizio-style meat service.
Skill in sharpening knives and keeping tools in top condition.
Experience in slicing meats directly from the skewer, ensuring speed and precision when serving customers.
Knowledge of different meat cooking points to meet customer preferences.
Customer service experience, including serving tables efficiently and courteously to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
Proven ability to clean and maintain
heavy-duty kitchen equipment
, ensuring hygiene and optimal performance.
Knowledge and adherence to
food safety regulations
and kitchen best practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on service quality and customer satisfaction.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Brazilian or international barbecue styles.

As a
BBQ Chef/Churrasqueiro
, you will:
Accurately and efficiently cook meats, fish, vegetables, and other dishes, following traditional Brazilian techniques.
Prepare and season meats to perfection, ensuring they meet customer preferences.
Serve meats Rodizio-style, slicing directly from skewers to customer plates with skill and precision.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the grill area, kitchen, and heavy-duty equipment.
Follow strict food safety standards and procedures.
Assist with buffet preparation, plate garnishing, and catering orders.
Perform opening and closing duties, including equipment checks, cleaning, and ensuring readiness for the next shift.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience in meat preparation and cooking.
Outstanding knowledge of handling sharp utensils and maintaining them in top condition.
Intermediate knowledge of heavy kitchen equipment.
Superior time management, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
Ability to safely lift and maneuver skewers and trays weighing up to 50 pounds.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
