Full-Cycle Bookkeeper

to join our team. The ideal candidate should enjoy managing all aspects of day-to-day accounting and will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This role requires proficiency in Quickbooks Accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles. Key Responsibilities



Perform full-cycle bookkeeping, including general ledger entries, journal entries, and month-end procedures Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and intercompany transactions Manage accounts receivable: generate invoices, apply payments, monitor aging, and follow up on outstanding balances Oversee accounts payable: enter bills, schedule payments, and reconcile vendor statements Prepare and file GST and PST returns (and other compliance reporting as needed) Assist with costing, inventory tracking, and expense allocations Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely and organized documentation Generate financial reports for management (monthly, quarterly, year-end) Support year-end processes and liaise with external accountants/auditors Maintain payroll records and assist with payroll processing if required Perform other administrative accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications



3+ years of experience in full-cycle bookkeeping Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency with Quickbooks accounting software Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Experience with GST/PST filings and general tax compliance High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

Assets (Nice to Have)



Experience with inventory or job costing Payroll processing experience Post-secondary education in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance

Responsibilities



Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions. Perform account reconciliation, including bank reconciliation, to maintain accurate financial records. Prepare monthly financial statements and reports, providing insights into account analysis and budgeting. Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero to maintain financial records efficiently. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support financial planning. Maintain organized financial documentation for audits and reviews. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not required based on experience.
