Full And Part Time Class 1 Truck Driver

Job Description
We are seeking a Class 1 drivers for full-time and part time employment opportunities within our organization. The ideal candidates will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting livestock on a night route that begins in Calgary and extends throughout Alberta during the week. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, a value we hold in high regard, and excellent driving skills. The driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the welfare of freight and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport goods safely and efficiently over designated routes. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate with dispatch regarding any issues. Perform routine vehicle maintenance and promptly report any mechanical issues. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Requirements for this position:
Must have a valid Class 1 Driver's License. 2 years of commercial driving experience. Self-motivation and a positive attitude. Must demonstrate reliability. Strong knowledge of federal and provincial safety expectations. Must wear all Personal Protective Equipment. Excellent communication skills. Team player.
