Job Overview

We are seeking a full time and casual class 1 truck driver to join our terminal in Riverton, Manitoba. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to operate heavy vehicles under varying conditions. Our candidate will be expected to do more than just driving goods. Our driver will be communicating with fisherman and fish stations in the area. You will also be expected to build and organize loads, driving on non-road accessible locations and communicating with our dispatchers in our Winnipeg terminal. Communication is key in this field. We will put our best effort in training the proper candidate for this role.

Licence/Certification:

Class 1 Licence (Required)

Qualifications and Skills:

-Must live near Gimli, Manitoba

- Fluent in English (Written & Spoken)

-Experienced in the Canadian trucking industry for at least 2 years

-Clear drivers abstract in the last 12 months

-Winter road experience/driving on non-accessible roads (Required)

-Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise during transport

-Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines while ensuring safety protocols are followed

-Ability to efficiently organize, manage, and complete required documentation and paperwork

-Flat deck experience is a plus*

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
