Summary: Norsat is seeking a Fulfillment Specialist to work in the Operations Department, reporting to the Logistics Manager. The role holder will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support outbound and inbound logistics for managing all commercial domestic and international orders; reviewing the accuracy of logistics and inventory information in the ERP, and preparing all the export documentation for international shipments, and preparation of shipments. In addition, the position requires maintaining supply inventory for the warehouse and office and streamlining all warehouse processes and flow. The Fulfillment Specialist will work with the Warehouse Coordinator and Logistics Coordinator to assure the proper delivery of all incoming and outgoing orders and actively participate in improving and maintaining the inventory processes for the warehouse using Microsoft Navision ERP. What You'll Do:

  • Managing incoming and outgoing shipments including Sales orders and Purchases orders;
  • Evaluating all documentation and records of orders;
  • Preparation of shipments for carrier pickup to international shipment standards;
  • Preparing shipping documents using Pacejet software as well as Microsoft Navision ERP;
  • Coordinating with sales and purchasing to streamline processes using MS Teams;
  • Managing the company’s recycling policy;
  • Picking and Put Away processes;
  • Provides backup support for Warehouse Coordinator and Logistics Coordinator;
  • Inspecting and ensuring received and shipped materials are free from damage;
  • Promptly reports any operational issues or equipment failures to the Team Lead or Supervisor to expedite problem resolution;
  • An active member of the cycle count and quarterly count of inventory;
  • Organizes and maintains inventory in the warehouse;
  • Adheres to safety and security protocols;
  • Maintaining warehouse and shipment work center using Lean 5S;
  • Other duties assigned.
What You'll Bring:
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of college or university with good computer skills;
  • Familiarity with ERP or Pacejet would be asset;
  • Accuracy to detail and great people skills;
  • Good physical ability;
  • Experience working with pallet jack and forklift preferred;
  • One year of warehousing experience or 6 months of logistics, retail, or customer service experience is preferred.
