Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fry Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Fry Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our customers while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Morning Availability (9:00am-5pm) preferred. Prepare and cook various fried foods according to established recipes and standards. Ensure that all food is cooked to the appropriate temperatures and meets quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fry station, including proper storage of food items. Monitor inventory levels of cooking supplies and notify management when restocking is needed. Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations during food preparation and handling. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Assist in the training of new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is an advantage. Familiarity with food preparation and cooking techniques, particularly frying methods. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment. Experience in meal preparation and understanding of various cooking equipment is a plus.
