We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fry Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Fry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of fried foods while ensuring that all meals are served promptly and meet our high standards of taste and presentation.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Operate fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices.
Assist in meal preparation for special events or large orders as needed.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, particularly in frying techniques.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Experience in the food service industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen.
Familiarity with meal preparation processes and kitchen equipment operation.
