Leon's Furniture in Moncton is currently looking for a Office manager to join their hard-working and client-focused team. The right person for this role will be comfortable digging in and managing office associates and dealing with customers.

We Are Looking For:



The right individual is highly organized, and a skilled multitasker. They will be charged to oversee the Front office and all of its Functions including: third party financing, sales order entry, freight management, training front office associates, associate scheduling, interactions with all departments and customers. This position will also work with some accounting, daily financial entries, and reconciliations. They perform accounting tasks such as, general ledger entries, journal entries and record payments and adjustments. They should be able to proactively identify and troubleshoot their own work as well as the work of front office associates.

Compliance with our systems to ensure that all work assigned is fully completed, by using the tools provided Working and reviewing customer accounts with bookkeepers to ensure the customer books are up-to-date; Daily invoice and journal entries Timely communication with all staff and management Build efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and help define new operational strategies. Document all processes and ensure compliance

QUALIFICATIONS:



To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Required Education and/or Experience

Year-end closing entries Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs and Sheets Google Calendar Fluent in French and English well-spoken, and possess strong writing skills College degree or enrollment in a college-level accounting program is an asset

Language Skills:



Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to colleagues, top management, public groups, and individual prospects/clients.

Reasoning Ability

:

ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Remuneration and Schedule



The compensation is in the $22/Hour and the individual will mostly work Monday to Friday, but will be required to work weekends several times a year.
