Job Description

We are looking for energetic, dependable, and self-motivated individuals to join our team. Candidates with open availability and/or prior experience as servers will be given special consideration.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Server:

Engage with guests, take food orders and accurately enter them into the POS system. Deliver food, clear plates and reset tables in a timely fashion. Takes reservations and waiting lists, handles phone calls and customer inquiries and assists various restaurant staff when necessary. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
Busser:

Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to ensure a smooth food delivery process. Assist in the preparation and setup of food items for service. Deliver food orders to customers' tables promptly and accurately. Ensure that all food items are presented in an appealing and appetizing manner. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure that all food orders are complete and accurate before delivery. Assist with clearing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) in English Ability to understand and follow direction from others Ability to perform basic math functions Must have Smart Serve certification Must be 18 years of age
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to bend at the waist and lift items up to 50lbs to waist level. Ability to carry items of up to 50 lbs. Ability to move items up to 30 lbs for distances of up to 25 feet. Ability to remain standing and active for an 8-12 hour shift. Ability to frequently climb and descend flights of stairs as well as ladders. Ability to hear, understand, and respond to colleagues' and guests' requests in a loud environment. Skill and co-ordination at using hands to write, pour, and carry several food/drinks at once, and carry several plates and bowls.
