Transcona's hidden gem, Sherwood's is nestled inside the Best Western Premier on Regent Ave. We are focused on providing incredible service and the best cocktails on the east side!

Restocks and replenishes food service supplies; assists wait staff; and clears, cleans and resets tables.

Greets guests as appropriate after they are seated. Serves water, rolls, and condiments. Accommodates guest requests for additional condiments, food items or fresh dinnerware. Removes dirty dishes, glassware and silverware from guest tables between courses and after guests leave the table. Replaces used dishes, glassware and silverware and resets vacated tables. Returns dishes, glassware and silverware to dishwashing area, sorting all items as appropriate. Ensures tables, chairs, and floor areas surrounding table are clean and clear of debris and crumbs. Sweeps restaurant floors throughout shift to maintain a clean, presentable and attractive restaurant. Mops hard floors at the end of each shift. Adheres to all hotel safety and security policies and procedures as outlined by hotel standards and Federal, Provincial and Local laws. Maintains superior standards of quality, service, and cleanliness in the restaurant and service area. Consistently maintains a neat, organized and clean workspace and uniform. Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all time. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Must have current food handling licenses/permits and maintain such licenses/permits. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of principles, values, and processes for providing superior guest service. Knowledge of basic math. Ability to operate cash register. Ability to project a professional, friendly, and courteous image to guests. Ability to multi-task and be detailed oriented. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
