Front of House

PURPOSE:

FiN Folk Food is a casual restaurant and patio serving comfort food and seafood classics which have become folklore favorites among tourists, foodies and locals alike. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Service:

Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner Provide excellence in customer service Communicate with guests regarding menu and service Serve guests food and beverages at the counter and occasionally to table Prepare and package take-out orders Answer questions about food, beverages, and other restaurant functions Accept and process payments and maintain records Maintain and clean and tidy work area Perform table clearing, cleaning, and sanitization Clean (sweep, mop, wipe, wash) all customer areas and service counters Stock, manage, and organize beverages and supplies Adhere to health and safety standards Communicate with and assist co-workers Remove garbage and clean containers This role may include additional responsibilities and duties as assigned. Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the dynamic needs of the company are essential.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Clear understanding of hygiene and food safety regulations Superb communication and interpersonal skills, especially in verbal interactions Exceptional multitasking skills and attention to detail Accurate memory to remember small details to relay the right message and respond accordingly Ability to stay calm when handling difficult clients and stressful situations

REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 30lbs WHMIS Certification

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
