Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team in the food service industry. The Shift Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that our restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and service quality.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient operations. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant. Train, mentor, and support team members to enhance their skills and performance. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Monitor financial performance during shifts, including cash handling and reporting. Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving service quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous experience in restaurant management or a supervisory role within the food industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional customer service.
