About the Role

We are hiring a

Front of House (FOH) Customer Lead

to ensure a high-quality guest experience, maintain a beautiful and clean cafe environment, and support team members in delivering warm, attentive service.

This is a leadership role for someone who notices the little things -- who can manage both the look and the feel of the front-of-house experience. You'll help set the tone for hospitality, oversee customer-facing displays and inventory, and guide the team in upholding high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead FOH staff in delivering excellent customer service Maintain cafe cleanliness and table-flipping rhythm throughout the day Refresh and organize the pastry case, drip station, bread shelves, and grab-n-go sections Ensure accuracy and visual consistency in Square POS and Craver app Curate the cafe ambiance through music, lighting, displays, and seasonal decor Manage front-of-house inventory and supplies Identify service gaps and collaborate on improvements Provide on-shift coaching and model hospitality best practices Communicate regularly with the FOH Manager and Coffee Lead

Qualifications & Skills

Experience in front-of-house cafe or restaurant leadership Strong eye for detail, aesthetics, and guest experience Confident using POS systems and basic digital tools (Craver, Square, etc.) Warm, team-oriented presence with strong communication skills Passion for hospitality and inclusive spaces Ability to stay organized, take initiative, and adapt in a fast-paced setting
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00 per hour
