With 115 guest rooms, and our sophisticated Grande Pinnacle Ballroom and the Conference Centre\'s state-of-the-art kitchen, we are proud of the events we have been able to host. With nine separate banquet rooms and our 6,200 square foot Grand Pinnacle Ballroom, our Conference Centre is the finest in the Fraser Valley. Our full service restaurant features fresh, local fare. We are known for our friendly and hospitable team. Clarion Hotel & Conference Centre is looking for a Front Desk Supervisor. Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for the overall performance of the Hotel Front Desk for CHA, and performing administration duties. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, highly organized, and a multi-tasker. They will possess a passion for Hotel Industry, and will have exceptional Customer Service. JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
  • Supervises and manages employees. Managing all day-to-day operations. Understanding employees positions well enough to perform duties in their absence.

  • Learn the procedures of Front Desk Agent and Night Auditor and be available to work a variety of shifts including morning (7:00AM-3:00PM), afternoon (3:00PM-11:00PM), and overnight if required (11:00PM-7:00AM).
  • Assist the front office team with overbooking situations, and coordinate room or property moves
  • Prepare Excel spreadsheets

  • Improves service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback and individual coaching when needed.
  • Serves as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors
  • Sets a positive example for guest relations
  • Displays outstanding hospitality skills
  • Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service
  • Interacts with customers on a regular basis to obtain feedback on quality of product, service levels and overall satisfaction
  • Provides feedback to employees based on observation of service behaviors
  • Manages guest concerns and complaints effectively
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Provides information to managers and co-workers by telephone, in written form, email or in person
  • Assists with staff scheduling to maintain a balance between service needs and labor costs
  • Functions in place of the Front Office Manager in his/her absence
  • All other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time Salary: $39,000.00-$41,000.00 per year Benefits:
