The Front Desk Clerk / Receptionist performs a variety of functions, clerical and receptionist duties associated with the daily operation of an effective retirement community.
Answer the main telephone system, and receive routine inquiries by phone and in person, relaying calls and messages to the appropriate personnel
Greet visitors with the grace and attention of The Residences on Yonge
Receive incoming mail and co-ordinate distribution, and process outgoing mail.
Assist with the Office Manager
Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidates will possess
:
Completion of secondary school or equivalent;
Good knowledge of Business English office procedures.
Demonstrated good organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Good command of the English language both oral and written
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Exposed to all resident care elements through regular resident contact. Stress from the constant need to handle interruptions during the workday. Regular stress from dealing with people in emotional distress.
