We are looking for a
Front Desk / Administrative Assistant
who brings positive energy, calmness, and strong critical-thinking skills to support both patients and the clinic team.

This position involves interaction with a wide range of patients -- from young children to seniors -- many of whom are anxious, frustrated, or experiencing vision- or skin-related concerns.

Position Overview
As the first point of contact for patients, you will ensure a welcoming and efficient experience from check-in to check-out. You will coordinate appointments, assist with documentation, and help maintain smooth patient flow throughout the clinic.
Patient Reception & Communication
Greet patients warmly and professionally
Navigate patient emotions with
tact, patience, and empathy
, especially during busy periods
Support patient flow and provide updates as needed
Scheduling & Coordination
Book appointments, diagnostics, referrals, and follow-ups
Communicate with external medical offices
Manage complex physician schedules accurately
Administrative Duties
Enter and maintain patient data in
Accuro EMR
(preferred but not required)
Process payments, invoices, and receipts
Prepare charts, scan/upload documents, and support dermatology & ophthalmology workflows
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy at all times
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of medical office or specialist clinic experience
Ability to remain
calm, composed, and solution-oriented
under pressure
Strong
critical-thinking and problem-solving
abilities
Excellent communication and customer-service skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume clinic
Strongly Preferred
Experience in
ophthalmology and/or dermatology
Experience with
Accuro EMR
Understanding of referral workflows and medical terminology
Experience supporting multiple physicians with varying schedules and workflow
Schedule
Full-time (open to consider part-time & casual) - permanent
Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays)
40 hours per week
