Skills such as keyboarding, telephone/switchboard use, and a positive disposition are essential. The successful candidate must be able to respond well under pressure, respond well under time restraints, able to converse well, be reliable, dependable and able to multitask. Duties include but not limited to: \xc2\xb7 Greet guests upon arrival, check them in and provide them with any information they need to enjoy their stay \xc2\xb7 Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies \xc2\xb7 Reconcile all accounts in a timely manner and verify all end of day cash etc from multiple departments \xc2\xb7 Ensure invoices are accurate and sent to Accounts department \xc2\xb7 Schedule guest wake-up calls and book reservations \xc2\xb7 Verify reservations and guest requests \xc2\xb7 Respond to guest inquiries, concerns and issues as needed \xc2\xb7 Answer phones Qualifications Required: \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and math skills \xc2\xb7 2+ years\' experience in customer service or hospitality \xc2\xb7 Able to learn computer functions and other on-the-job skills \xc2\xb7 Strong eye for details \xc2\xb7 Good problem-solving skills \xc2\xb7 Ability to multitask \xc2\xb7 Solid customer service skills \xc2\xb7 Strong written and verbal communication skills \xc2\xb7 Exceptional customer service skills Job Type: Part-time Salary: From $17.00 per hour Benefits:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• ST. JOHN\'S, NL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Hotel & Accommodations Guest Services Staff: 1 year (preferred)
• customer service: 2 years (required)
