Job Description
The Front Desk / Breakfast Attendant is a dual-role position responsible for delivering excellent guest service by managing front desk operations and ensuring a clean, welcoming, and well-stocked breakfast area. This role plays a key part in creating a positive guest experience from check-in to check-out and during the morning meal service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet all guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner Check guests in and out efficiently using hotel management software Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and manage reservations Process payments and maintain accurate records Handle guest concerns or complaints with empathy and prompt action Monitor lobby cleanliness / breakfast area and maintain a welcoming atmosphere Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance as needed Follow all hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols Set up, maintain, and break down breakfast area according to brand standards Prepare and replenish food items such as coffee, juice, pastries, fruit, and hot items Ensure cleanliness of tables, counters, and food service areas during and after breakfast hours Monitor food temperatures and comply with health and safety regulations Greet guests in the breakfast area and provide assistance or information as needed Restock supplies and notify management of inventory needsJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
Vernon, BC: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
