Job Description

The Kettle Valley Beach Resort (KVBR) is located 950 Lakeshore Drive in Penticton, and we are hiring a front desk, and housekeeping quality control team member for seasonal part-time to full-time hours, based on the needs of the business.

Duties & Responsibilities



Reporting to the KVBR General Manager, the successful candidate would be responsible for:

Providing customer service and handling administrative duties such as check-in and check-out of guests, taking reservations over the phone and in person Address and action guest requests, communications, or concerns in a timely, and professional manner Perform guest payment transactions Conduct housekeeping quality control checks for all rooms prior to guest check in Manage and maintain inventory for room replacements Follow established procedures and policies when completing tasks, including following emergency and safety procedures Other duties as required

Job Requirements/Qualifications:



Shift hours vary between the hours of 8am and 7pm, seven days a week Previous hotel front desk experience is an asset, but we will provide training Previous housekeeping quality control or housekeeping experience an asset Excellent customer service skills and professionalism Good communication skills, both verbal and written Strong interpersonal skills Solid computer skills Attention to detail, good organization skills Ability to work in fast paced environment Friendly and enthusiastic manner, great sense of cooperation and teamwork Experience with conflict resolution an asset Self-starter with the ability to work independently or in teams as required Good knowledge of local wineries, restaurants and activities
Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
