dynamic, guest-oriented Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor
to join our IHG hotel team. This dual-role position serves as the face of our property, ensuring each guest enjoys a seamless, welcoming, and memorable stay from arrival to departure.
In this versatile role, you will manage guest check-ins and check-outs, handle reservations, and provide accurate information regarding room availability, rates, and amenities. As Night Auditor, you'll also be responsible for completing end-of-day financial procedures, performing nightly audits, assisting with shuttle service when needed, and maintaining the safety and operational integrity of the property during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities
Greet and check in guests upon arrival; process check-outs efficiently
Handle new reservations, modifications, and cancellations
Provide guests with hotel information, local directions, and area recommendations
Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely, professional manner
Accurately manage room availability, rates, and hotel amenities
Perform nightly audit procedures, reconcile daily transactions, and generate financial reports
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction
Stay informed about hotel events, activities, and meetings
Promote and upsell hotel services and amenities as appropriate
Report unusual incidents or guest requests to the Front Office Manager or General Manager
Provide shuttle transportation if needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or in a similar hospitality role preferred
Experience with
HotelKey
reservation system is a plus
Comfortable using
Gmail
and basic
Microsoft Office
software
Knowledge of proper credit card and cash handling protocols
Strong telephone etiquette and communication skills
Familiarity with OTAs like
Expedia, Priceline, Booking.com,
and
Hotels.com
Professional, engaging customer service attitude
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Must possess a valid
driver's license
