Front Desk Agent
Job Description
The Viscount Gort Hotel is looking for the following position:Full Time Guest Service Agent
Reporting to the Front Desk Manager, the Guest Service Agent is responsible for the following duties:
Greeting guests as they arrive.
Checking in, checking out.
Room Assignments
Operate Hotel switchboard-cancelling & making reservations.
Must be able to work a variety of shifts - ie: Evenings, weekends and holidays
Provide general information about what's in the area and general knowledge of the hotel
Resolve guest complaints.
Take payments and compute bills
Balance cash and complete end of day balancing sheets
Customer service oriented
Work with minimal supervision
General Office Duties-Faxing/Filing/photocopying
Good communication/organization skills
Must be able to work well with others
Problem solving & Decision making
Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.80-$22.29 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
