FRONT DESK AGENT

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Front Desk Agent serves as the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a positive hotel experience. This position is responsible for greeting guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, processing payments, handling reservations, and responding to guest inquiries professionally and courteously.

The Front Desk Agent also assists with guest requests, provides information about hotel services and local attractions, and communicates any concerns or special requests to management to ensure guest satisfaction.

FRONT DESK AGENT'S DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests upon arrival Perform guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Process payments and transactions in accordance with hotel procedures while maintaining accurate records Answer incoming phone calls and respond to guest questions and requests in a courteous and timely manner Address guest concerns or complaints professionally, escalating issues to management when appropriate Assist guests with reservations, room assignments, and general inquiries Promote hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience Communicate outstanding guest requests or issues to management for follow-up as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
