We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of hotel management operations, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. Previous hotel or resort experience is preferred, along with multilingual abilities to assist diverse guests.
Duties
Greet guests upon arrival and check them in efficiently while providing a warm, welcoming experience
Manage guest inquiries and requests via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy
Handle multi-line phone systems and maintain accurate reservation records
Assist with guest check-out processes and billing procedures
Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest satisfaction
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards
Perform night audit duties as needed, including balancing accounts and preparing reports
Maintain guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to ensure positive reviews and repeat business
Skills
Strong background in hospitality management and customer service excellence
Bilingual or multilingual skills to assist international guests effectively
Experience with hotel management software Opera Cloud.
Knowledge of hotel operations, guest services, and resort management practices
Excellent phone etiquette and ability to manage multi-line phone systems efficiently
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle guest relations diplomatically
Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts if required
Hospitality management expertise combined with a friendly demeanor to create a positive guest experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.70 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
