Rodd Miramichi Hotel is looking for a talented service-oriented person to join our front desk team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To use the guest?s last name at every opportunity.
To follow Rodd Hotels and Resorts Front Desk Standards.
To receive and register hotel guests in a courteous and efficient manner in accordance with availability, special requests, parking requirements and guest credit policy.
To provide impeccable guest service through communication to all Hotel personnel.
To accept, confirm, modify, or cancel room reservations, communicate changes to appropriate departments, providing sales staff with ?leads?.
Using the Guest Recovery model, effectively deal with customer concerns
To maximize room revenue through active up selling, room types and room rates when accepting reservations and upon arrival.
To operate and maintain all equipment required to perform your duties as a Front Desk Agent.
To develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the Hotel, Its amenities, Packages, Programs, Events, Local tourist Attractions and other Rodd Properties, so you can communicate in a ?sales conscious? manner, when responding to guest inquiries.
To maintain guest accounts in accordance with Guest Credit Policy, communicating all Direct Invoicing information and all circumstances surrounding uncollected accounts to accounting department.
To maintain operating supplies through inventory and ordering procedures for room card keys, all forms, paper and office supplies.
To develop initiative in decision-making, with the aim of maximising guest service, flexibility and qualifications for advancement within the department, the Hotel and the Company.
To take immediate and positive action within the guidelines provided in the event of emergency alarm or emergency situation of any nature.
To execute all reasonable additional assignments determined by supervisory or management personnel.
