is looking for a positive and energetic individual to join our Front Desk Team in the role of Front Desk Agent.
The position requires availability for 3pm to 11pm shift and including weekends. The ideal candidate must have a flexible work schedule.
Previous Hotel Front Desk Experience is required!
The key responsibilities of the Front Desk Agent include but are not limited to:
Ensure that guest receive a positive first and last impression of the hotel, greets and registers guest ( check in and out), liaises with other departments.
Handle guests requests and answers questions
Answer telephones in a friendly, yet professional manner and greets guests in a timely manner n accordance with Best Western Standards.
Must be able to multi-task with an excellent attention to detail.
The candidate is empowered to handle all guest inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
Providing Highest Guest Satisfaction.
The successful candidate welcomes every guest on their arrival and must have a genuine friendly and welcoming attitude in person and over the phone and converts room inquiries into making reservations with 100% accuracy.
Competency Requirements:
High School Diploma
Currently enrolled in post Secondary is an asset
Must have excellent telephone etiquette.
Minimum 2 year hotel guest experience at the front desk in a busy hotel environment.
Diploma in Hospitality preferred or Hospitality industry courses in Hotel Management.
1 year related work experience, Hospitality Diploma and/or equivalent combination of education and hotel experience is a asset.
Must be able to multi-task with excellent attention to detail
Exceptional selling skills
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with excellent communication and observational skills, contributes an energetic and positive attitude to the hotel atmosphere.
Must have demonstrated the ability to work effectively under pressure and have the ability to handle high volumes of challenging guest related interactions with professionalism.
