Position Overview

We are seeking a professional, friendly, and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for our guests and plays a key part in ensuring their stay is exceptional from check-in to check-out.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and check in guests upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. Process check-outs and handle payments accurately. Answer phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Manage reservations, ensuring proper room allocation and that special requests are noted. Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally, escalating when necessary. Maintain accurate guest records in the hotel management system while ensuring confidentiality. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and facilities are in optimal condition. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, preparing reports, and maintaining guest interaction logs. Support additional front desk duties, including concierge services, luggage handling, and guest amenities.

Qualifications

Previous front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency with hotel management systems or reservation software considered an asset. Must reside in Iqaluit or be willing to relocate (relocation assistance available for candidates within Canada).
