We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional guest services at our hotel. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient check-in and check-out processes. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, accurately and proficiently recording of information, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities
Greet guests upon arrival with a welcoming demeanor and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
Manage reservations and room assignments using hotel management software.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services available to guests.
Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions.
Operate phone systems effectively, ensuring clear communication with guests and staff.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Strong phone etiquette skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Proficiency in handling phone systems and hotel management software is advantageous.
Bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork are essential for success in this role.
