At the Sydney, we are looking for a Hotel Front Desk Agent to serve as our guests with a passion for customer service and hospitality, ensuring our guests enjoy a satisfying.
Hotel Front Desk Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we'd like to meet you!
Requirements for the role -
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Customer service skills, outgoing personality
Team player, ability to work collaboratively with other staff
Task-driven individual
Proficient in English (oral/ written), Bilingual is an asset
Front Desk/ Customer Service experience is an asset
Basic bookkeeping
Strong organizational skills
Flexible schedule
Knowledge in Microsoft & Excel
Excellent at multitasking
Responsibilities -
Register & direct guests to their assigned rooms
Accommodate guest requests
Communicate with hotel staff on the status of guest rooms
Upselling guest rooms and promoting hotel services
Schedule services for guests
Recommendation for guests' trips
Handling debit machine /cash payments
Maintain a clean and neat front desk area
Work under minimal supervision
Can multitask many duties
Make on-the-spot decisions
Dealing with guest issues and complaints
Handling phone and email bookings
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Experience:
customer service: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
CPR Certification (preferred)
