Front Desk employees serve as the first point of contact for our hotel guests. They are key to ensuring a high end guest experience. Duties including answering phone calls, greeting guests, and overseeing reservations. Front Desk agent also help with planning guests trips on the Island, so having a strong understanding of PEI is an asset.
Our primary shift work for this position will be 3pm-11pm. It should be noted that it would be helpful to be a resident of Charlottetown.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests and provide them with superb customer service.
Ensure the front desk is neat, presentable, and equipped with all the necessary supplies such as pens, forms, and paper.
Answer all client questions and incoming calls.
Understand and manage third party booking sites such as booking.com and Expedia
Redirect phone calls to the appropriate department and take down messages.
Helping take guest luggage up flights of stairs
Accept all letters and packages, and distribute them to their appropriate departments.
Monitor, organize and forward emails.
Maintain records and files.
