We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Multilingual and bilingual abilities are a plus, helping us serve a diverse guest population.
Duties
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, make reservations, and provide information
Handle guest requests promptly and professionally to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction
Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations in the property management system
Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs efficiently
Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests and team members
Skills
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently
Proficiency in front desk operations within a hospitality environment
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests
Knowledge of hotel procedures, guest services, and hospitality best practices is preferred
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage reservations and guest information accurately
