Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Guest Services Agent to join our hospitality team. The Guest Service Agent plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. This position involves managing front desk responsibilities, performing nightly audits, and providing exceptional guest services to ensure a pleasant experience for all visitors. Applicants must be available to work all shifts as needed, shifts are 7am - 3pm , 3pm - 11pm and 11pm - 7am.

Responsibilities

Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel policies. Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while providing excellent customer service. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise. Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and billing information. Utilize phone systems to handle incoming calls and assist guests with their requests promptly. Ensure the lobby and front desk areas are clean, organized, and welcoming for guests. Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.

Requirements

Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Proficient phone etiquette and ability to handle inquiries professionally. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Familiarity with hotel management software and phone systems is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively during night shifts. Ability to work independently and maintain a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
