Front Counter Attendant

Job Description
We are seeking a part-time front counter attendant with a positive, friendly personality for our Trinidadian take-out restaurant. Prior cashier & customer service experience in a food service setting is a MUST.
REQUIRED AVAILABILITY
Currently, Tuesday to Saturday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
MAIN DUTIES
operate POS system and handle cash, debit, and credit transactions accurately
take phone orders
prepare, assemble and bag food orders, including phone and online delivery orders
perform daily inventory checks to ensure there is sufficient quantity of food, drinks, packaging supplies, etc. at all times
maintaining cleanliness in all public areas
QUALIFICATIONS
excellent oral and written English
experience processing online delivery orders, e.g. Skip The Dishes, Uber Eats
punctual, trustworthy and reliable
friendly, positive attitude; comfortable dealing with the public
attention to detail; excellent memory and organizational skills
able to multi-task and work under time pressures without becoming overwhelmed
able to follow directions, take initiative and perform tasks quickly and accurately
able to work well independently and with others
