Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Counter Attendant to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the counter area. This role is essential in creating a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Assist in food preparation and ensure all items are fresh and ready for service. Handle cash transactions efficiently using a Point of Sale (POS) system. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, including regular cleaning of surfaces and equipment. Provide assistance to customers as needed, answering questions about menu items and making recommendations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Skills

Experience in the food industry is preferred but not required. Strong basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Familiarity with restaurant operations and food service practices. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
