Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our educational team.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards for French language education. Utilize various teaching methods and resources to engage students in learning the French language, including interactive activities and technology. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their language development. Create a positive classroom environment that encourages participation, communication, and collaboration among students. Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students, including those with special education requirements. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance using Learning Management Systems (LMS). Collaborate with other educators to integrate cross-curricular content, such as math, into language lessons where appropriate. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.

Skills

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching French, particularly with children in early childhood education settings. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues. Familiarity with special education practices and the ability to adapt lessons for diverse learning needs. Proficiency in proofreading educational materials to ensure clarity and accuracy. Ability to create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning through creativity and exploration. Knowledge of integrating technology into lessons for enhanced learning experiences.
